Technical & Instructional Specifications and Guidance

TPS offers a service at the end of a design project called a “VENDOR KIT” – This comprises a roadmap for the manufacturer in order to achieve a high degree of success in manufacturing. Included in the kit are detailed assembly instructions, material and printing specs, samples in actual materials and art files with specific callouts for exact printing standards. Giving a printer/manufacturer a precise guide as to what is expected is certainly the best way to success.

Pre-production Evaluation and Approval

The TPS experts can act as the middleperson between you and your manufacturers and inspect pre-production samples to make sure that they are completely to spec. We will address any issues directly and diplomatically with your suppliers.

On-Site Vendor Assessment

TPS offers an auditing service for our customers where we visit your manufactures (USA & China) and rate their capabilities and services offered. We will create a custom report that covers all important aspects of manufacturing/printing and give you specific grades on their performance. Our comprehensive experience working with both U.S.-based and overseas manufacturers makes it possible for us to help our customers forge and sustain effective working relationships with them.

Consulting Production Management & Vendor Liaison

With responsible package design comes the inevitable need for the realities of printing and manufacturing of our package designs. After considering these aspects during the design process, we will work with your manufacturer (USA and overseas) to achieve the realization of the approved packaging. For many years we have worked directly with manufacturers all over the world and we are skilled in guiding them in order to achieve our customer’s goals.

Manufacturing Sourcing & Placement

We have extensive and broad-ranging experience helping our customers search for and secure relationships with vendors that have helped them successfully realize their packaging manufacturing and printing needs. A large part of what we do well involves getting to know our customers’ products, and the natures of the markets within which they compete to sell their products. We then supplement this understanding with knowledge of whatever production standards their packaging must meet to satisfy shipping, retail display, and product housing parameters.
